I’ve told Emma and Dale over and over again just how honoured I was to be their wedding photographer. I met Emma when we started at university together. The more I got to know her the more I found out we had in common. From our (maiden!) name to our hair colour and working at Target right through to be lefties we started referring to ourselves as “cousins.” I heard lots about this guy Dale she had met and it was obvious she was so happy just from the way she talked about him.
And here they are – making it official 7 years later. Dale and Emma, thank you for choosing and entrusting me to be your photographer (maybe we should have entrusted someone else to the rings…thanks for saving my butt, Michael!) It was the most beautiful day and it was so lovely to see how happy you are together. I hope you have those vows printed and framed so you can read them to each other when things seem tough because they will be a beautiful and heartfelt reminder about just how much you mean to each other.
