When I announced my first pregnancy back in 2012, a handful of other people I knew were also pregnant … but only a handful. Then in 2014 when I was pregnant for the second time, there were more friends I knew when were also pregnant and expecting babies throughout 2015. When we got pregnant again in 2016 – it seemed like half of Perth did as well. And not just having 2017 babies, they were all due in May 2017! Crazy!
My favourite week of 2017 so far has been the week (9 days actually) when 3 close friends of mine all told me (separately) that they were pregnant. This made my heart sing as their individual journies hadn’t been straight forward and it was something definitely worth celebrating. Since then I seem to have had lots of baby related photo shoots and am excited to share some of my favourites here with you. 2 pregnancy announcements and a gender reveal shoot – I had so much fun celebrating with these couples and can’t wait to follow their stories and see their precious bundles later in the year.
